Time Advantage Software Scheduling
Employee time attendance scheduling is a major problem for most time and attendance systems. Time Advantage web based time attendance software was designed to cover virtually all scenarios. Below are descriptions of the different types of scheduling available. For more information with graphics, please visit the Time Advantage Help.
- Standard Schedules- Set up a schedule rotation for 7 days, 14 days, a month, or whatever length needed. Start and Stop times, Lunches and Breaks, Shift Differentials and more can vary from day to day.
- Split Schedules - Using the Standard Schedule, you can schedule up to 3 Start and Stop times for a given day.
- Standby (On Call) Schedules- Times an employee is to be on Standby is scheduled as part of the Standard Schedule
- Potential Schedules- If an employee moves from schedule to schedule (i.e. 7:00 to 3:30, 3:00 to 11:30, or 11:00 to 7:00) you can assign this list of "potential" schedules to an employee. Time Advantage will evaluate the first and last punch of the day and decide automatically what schedule the employee worked that day. All late and early punches, etc. will be based on this decision.
- Flex Schedules- With flex scheduling an employee can be assigned a "core" period they have to be at work, along with a number of total hours they must work. For instance, an employee may have a core of 9:00 to 3:00 and minimum of 8 hours to work. The employee will be able to arrive or leave at the time they choose as long as they are there from 9:00 to 3:00 and worked at least 8 hours.
- Availability Schedules- This schedule lists the times an employee is available for work, not just the hours they are scheduled for but also times they are available to be called in. If an employee is absent and a position needs to be filled, the Global Schedule screen can be used to get a list of available employees for that time, department, job title, etc. It is a simple procedure to then schedule the employee.
- Daily Templates- These templates give you the ability to drop a different schedule into an employee's schedule for a particular day or days. This could be for a different start or stop time, availability scheduling mentioned in the previous paragraph, or advanced scheduling of benefit hours.
Time Advantage software web based time attendance scheduling will make life easy for any payroll or HR department.
