HandPunch time and attendance systems recognize people, not credentials, using physical characteristics of hand geometry to identify an individual. The hand reader reads the size and shape of an employee's hand, not the print. This hand template is updated each time it is used. In other words, as an employee gains or loses weight, the hand punch will gain and lose with them.
The hand reader comes in 4 levels of functionality and communicates via TCP/IP, RS232, RS485, or modem.
